Try incorporating the jumping and leaping moves Waterson suggests into his 10-week challenge workouts. I liked this book because Simon lays out easy to follow exercise plans for all fitness levels that work for a range of people, whether they have no equipment, minimal equipment or a full gym setup. Filming a movie is like running a marathon – if you don’t arrive well prepared at the starting point, you will pay for it at the end. Some of the detail is lacking, especially about the cardio part of the sessions (heart rate targets etc), but this isn’t a text book or a fitness manual.

The drawback to any book written by a fitness trainer is the author's obvious avoidance of writing himself out of a job. His work with actors on a tight shooting schedule has taught him valuable lessons about avoiding injury.

In addition the cardio while resting between resistance didn't make sense/wasn't explained because I would have thought cardio would make the resistance excercise weaker and therefore adaptation stall I. They're solid workouts which I mix-and-match depending on what I want to pinpoint; this past week I did the Hiddleston once and the Chris Evans workout twice, and by the end of the week I was capable of more reps than I was at the start.
